I'm NWO Veni Fellow and Lecturer in Early Modern History
 at the University of Groningen.

My current book project Divided by Memory examines
how conflicting Protestant and Catholic memories
about the French Wars of Religion could undermine
religious coexistence and re-ignite civil conflict.

Latest news: my article "Memorializing the Wars of Religion"
has been awarded the Nancy Roelker Prize and Harold Grimm Prize
by the Sixteenth Century Society. More details on the RSA website.
